Prospective Families and Tuition

Hampton Lutheran School is a preschool through sixth grade private school. The small class sizes guarantee your child the personal attention they need. Our teachers, pastors, and support staff are all personally involved with your child. Hampton Lutheran School also works with Hampton Public School to provide band and special education services.

Kindergarten through sixth grade is always accepting new students. We start accepting inquiries in the spring for the upcoming fall start for preschool, and we accept inquiries in the fall for the January start for preschool.

Why Choose HLS

Hampton Lutheran School was established in 1969. The inerrant Word of God is at the heart of the educational curriculum at Hampton Lutheran School. Instruction in God’s Word and faith development are not limited to a class period but are integrated into the entire day.

Incorporated into all this, we believe that Jesus is the reason for this school. He is the unseen but ever-present teacher in our classes, the model of our faculty, and the inspiration of our students. His life, death, and resurrection are the example we seek to follow.

Tuition and Financial Aid for Prospective Families

Hampton Lutheran School is a mission of Zion Lutheran Church and St. Peter Lutheran Church. HLS is financed through tuition, fundraising, gift income, and the financial support of St. Peter Lutheran Church and Zion Lutheran Church of Hampton.

Hampton Lutheran School will work together with prospective families to meet their financial needs. Families with financial need should submit an application for assistance.

Please contact us today for an educational consultation with principal Jean Carnoali to discuss the opportunities and benefits of a Christ centered education for your child.

Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the Grandmother/Mother Scholarship fund is to help families provide a Christian education for their children up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. The scholarship fund provides financial assistance for tuition paying students. Scholarships are awarded based upon need up to half the cost of tuition.

Applications for scholarships are due by July 31, 2020.

Reducing Tuition Through Scrip

Another way to reduce tuition is to purchase Scrip for local stores and national chains. Both families and others may purchase Scrip to benefit a given family.
