National Lutheran Schools Week is a time to celebrate everything that makes HLS and other Lutheran schools so special: our mission on growing in our faith, teaching about God, and coming together as a community and school. Follow these fun dress-up days Jan. 27-30 to celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week 2020!
Monday: Joy Fully (Hat and Crazy Hair Day)
Wear a fun hat or do something wild with your hair on Monday!
Isaiah 35:10: “And those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.”
Tuesday: Thank Fully (Friend Day)
Dress like someone you are thankful for. You can make this a twin day!
Psalm 100:4: “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.”
Wednesday: Peace Fully (Hawaiian Day)
Chill out and put on your best Hawaiian shirts and outfits.
John 16:33: “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
Thursday: Faith Fully (Display Your Faith Day) and Hope Fully (HLS T-Shirt Day)
Display your faith with clothing and jewelry, and show your school pride and wear an HLS shirt!
