All community members are invited to attend St. Peter Lutheran Church’s fish feed for Orphan Grain Train on Saturday, July 13 from 5:30-7 PM.
St. Peter will serve fish, potatoes, salad, and desserts. Not only will you enjoy a tasty meal, but you will have an opportunity to share in the ministry of giving and caring for many of God’s children who are in great need.
A freewill offering will be collected at the fish feed. Half of the proceeds will go to Orphan Grain Train’s general operating and shipping costs, and Heartland Lutheran School and Hampton Lutheran School will each receive a quarter of the funds raised. You can also donate to Orphan Grain Train online.
St. Peter will accept donations of clean clothing, shoes, toys, quilts, nonbreakable houseware items, school supplies, and health items at the fish feed.
If you’re interested in helping at Orphan Grain Train’s warehouse, its warehouse hours are Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 2 PM. If you are interested in volunteering to work in the warehouse, please contact Cheryl Tickner at 308-894-8125 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
