God does indeed have a plan for Hampton Lutheran School! The Board of Education has trusted God’s timing, and prayed for guidance and wisdom as they considered the staffing for the next school year.
Some of you met the candidate, Mrs. Einspar, when she and her husband visited over Memorial Day. Although she was well qualified and seemed like a good fit, she regretfully let us know that she would not be able to accept the position. At that time, the board revisited Mrs. Carnoali to see if she would be willing to take the administrative/head teacher duties. We are so blessed that she agreed to do that! She will continue to teach 5th and 6th grade, with some revision of schedule to allow for some office time.
We are also very excited and blessed that the preschool/kindergarten teacher position has been filled by Mrs. Lisa Montoya! She comes to us from Zion Lutheran School in Worms with 14 years of Lutheran Education experience across all grades levels, the majority being in Early Childhood. She has three children, a son who is a senior and two daughters, a junior and an eighth grader. We are thrilled to have her as part of the HLS family, and she is hoping to relocate in the area.
We are still looking for volunteers to help in the preschool. This year there will be two sections (4 sessions per week from 1:00 to 3:30 PM M/T/Th/F). If you or anyone you know would be interested in volunteering several hours a week, please contact the office.
While there are changes, we know that ONE thing remains the same: Jesus Christ will continue to be at the heart of Christian education at Hampton Lutheran School.
